There are many instances in which private training sessions are either preferred or a supplement to group classes. Perhaps your puppy has just started our Puppy Preschool class but you'd like some private sessions to help with things at home that aren't covered in class. Perhaps you have a dog that does not do well in an environment other than his home and it is best for him to learn from the comfort of his home. Or maybe you have an aggressive/reactive dog or anxiety ridden dog that is not able to come to a group class and requires special one on one training with a qualified professional trainer. Then private training is for you!
We have several different private training packages available ranging from basic obedience and puppy training to behavior modification for aggressive/fearful dogs and specialty training for therapy and service dogs. Private sessions are done either in the comfort of your home, at What's in the Bowl Pet Shop (provided the weather is permitting on the day of the session) or at the location the dog needs help with. If the location is within 30 miles of Mukwonago, WI there is no mileage charge. If it is further, there is a 58 cent per mile charge, based on the IRS 2019 standard mileage rates.
Please note that a Consultation for whatever type of private training (obedience, behavior or therapy dog) you are wanting to book must be completed BEFORE you book any packages. Consultations can be found under the "Private Training/Consults" tab in the client portal/registration page.
